Making a voice greeting with Windows Sound Recorder

Open the App

• Press the Windows Key , search for "Sound Recorder" and open it

Change sound file format to .WAV

• Click the 3 dots in the top right and select "Settings"

• Open the "Recording format" dropdown and select "WAV (lossless)"

• Press the "Back" () button in the top left

Make a recording

• Make sure that you are using the correct input device (selection menu on bottom left)
• Hit the red "record" button  and record your message. Press the "stop" button when finished to end the recording. 
• Your recording will now appear on the left pane of the app. 
  • Right click the recording and press "Show in folder" to instantly browse to the file itself

• You are now able to use this file for whatever you need.
