Making calls
- You can start dialing from any menu in the phone by either picking up the handset or by beginning to dial with the dial pad.
- There is no need to prefix external numbers with '91' anymore, just dial the 10-digit phone number
- 10-digit phone numbers will automatically begin ringing after 3 seconds
- You have to press the "call" button in order to ring 4-digit extensions
- International numbers must be prefixed with '011'
- IE to call "44 20 7499 9000" you would dial "011 44 20 7499 9000"

- Navigate to the "Calls" applet

- This is the main calls screen
- You can see that we are currently on the "Favorites" tab which shows your favorite contacts
- To the left of the Favorites tab is the "Recent" tab which will show your recent and missed calls
- On top of the "Recent" tab there is a spyglass. This is the search feature.

- This is the search screen accessed by the spyglass icon in the main Calls page
- Begin typing the name of any Santa Fe user and they will pop up in the recommendation

- After tapping Allen's contact from the search menu, it brings up his profile
- Tapping the phone icon on the left will call him
- Tapping the tape icon on the right will send you to his voicemail without ringing him
Voicemail Greeting & Forwarding Options



- Call Forwarding Toggle : Toggling this on will enable call forwarding.
- You have two options for call forwarding:
- Voice mail - Will immediately forward your calls to your voicemail
- Contact or Number - Will immediately forward calls to a Teams contact or phone number
- Also ring : This allows you to select a person or number that can take calls on your behalf. You will both see the incoming call and have the option to pick it up.
- If unanswered : Choose what happens when you miss a call. Missed calls can go to voicemail, or forwarded to another user or phone number
- WARNING: Setting "If Unanswered" to "Off" will prevent clients from leaving a voicemail.
- Display call forward on home screen : This puts a quick-access menu for the forwarding options mentioned above onto your homepage so you don't have to go through the settings every time you want to change your forwarding rules. Useful for people who use forwarding a lot
- Change voicemail greetings : Tapping this will initiate a call with the Teams voicemail agent which will walk you through setting up voicemail greetings for both normal and out of office statuses
Changing Your Status

- In the phone’s home screen, tap your profile icon, tap your current status, and then select the status you want.
Setting a Status (Away) Message

- In the phone’s home screen, tap your profile icon, and then tap the "Set status message" button

- Top box : This is where you will enter the message
- Middle box : Enabling this will show a small box with your message on top of the chat box whenever people try to message you in the Teams app
- Bottom box : This is where you can clear a message after x amount of time
Setting up Speed Dials and Favorites
- This must be done via the Teams Desktop Application
Line Keys

- Tap "More" and then "Line Keys"
- If you want a dedicated button on the home screen for Line Keys tap "Reorder" and drag it to one of the top three positions

- Tap one of the empty line key slots and tap "Assign line key"

- You can only assign contacts from your favorites or speed dial groups to line keys
- Refer to the section above to learn how to add favorites
- Click the plus to the right of your desired contact to add them to that line key slot

- Now you can tap on a slot to instantly call that contact
Setting a Pattern / Pin / Password
You can set a Pattern, Pin, or Password, to secure your phone when not in use.

- Open your settings by tapping your profile picture
- Scroll to the very bottom of the settings page and select "device settings"

- Once in the Device Settings menu, scroll down until you see "Security"
- Now tap "Screen Lock"

- Tap your desired method and set your code
- Pattern: Similar to Android device. This allows you to set a motion pattern instead of a code
- PIN: 6-digit minimum pin that can be entered using either the on-screen keyboard OR the phone's dial pad if available
- Password: Allows you to set an alphanumerical password. This can only be entered using the on-screen keyboard

- Now if you go back to the home screen and tap your profile picture, the "Lock" option will lock the phone
