Microsoft 365: How to install Microsoft 365 Apps (Office 365)

Overview

Employees and Students with a valid Santa Fe College Microsoft 365 account can install Microsoft 365 apps on up to five devices. This includes any combination of Windows, Mac, tablets, or smart phones can be logged in simultaneously, providing flexibility for accessing work across different devices. M365 applications include:

  • Outlook, OneDrive
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Access, OneNote, Publisher
Students: First Semester of Inactivity

When a student is no longer enrolled in classes, their account becomes restricted. This restricted access, only allows internal communication with Santa Fe, Faculty, and other students. It also restricts the Microsoft Office Desktop suite, to where you can only use the Web Version. Restricted access lasts for one semester.

Students: Second Semester of Inactivity (After one Spring & Fall)

After two semesters of non-enrollment, student accounts access will be removed. It is recommended that prior to graduation, or an extended leave, to make a backup of any files & emails that are important, as they will become inaccessible.
