Busy-On-Busy
Busy-on-busy is a setting that will prevent calls from interrupting you while you're already in a call or meeting. It is useful if you frequently have to share your screen and do not want call notifications to be seen by the participants of your meeting. It can also help you stay focused if you take a lot of calls and don't want call notifications distracting you while talking to people on the phone.
You must create a ticket for ITS to enable this setting for your account
- First, click on the three dots at the top right of your Teams app and go to "Settings"

- From the settings page, click "Calls" on the left-hand navigation bar

- If ITS has enabled your account for Busy-on-busy, you will see the "When you're in a call and receive another call" setting under "Call handling and forwarding"

- There are three settings for this feature:
- Play a busy signal - This will cause calls to go straight to a busy signal when you're already in a call or meeting
- The above is not recommended as callers won't even be able to leave a voicemail
- Let new calls ring me - As the name implies, new calls will ring and show a notification on your screen even if you're already in a call or meeting
- Redirect as if call is unanswered - This will make calls go to whatever call flow you have setup for when you are unable to answer a call. You will not be notified of the calls if already in a call or meeting. They will just go wherever you have the unanswered calls settings going.
- To change your "Unanswered calls" setting scroll down to the "Manage Voicemail" section of the "Calls" settings page. Whatever you set here will be what happens whenever you set "Redirect as if the call is unanswered" in the Busy-on-busy settings
