Making a call

From the dialpad

  • Click the "Calls" app on the left side of your screen
  • Type in a name or number and then click Call at the bottom of the dialpad

From the search bar

  • First, type "/call [ENTER KEY]" and then type the person or number you are trying to dial
  • Hit the blue button on the right to start the call
 

Transferring a call

  • At the top of your screen, click the Transfer button
  • Transfer (Cold Transfer)
    • This option sends the caller directly to another person without contacting them beforehand
  • Consult then transfer
    • This option allows you to contact the recipient — either by message or call — before initiating the transfer

  • This is the transfer menu
    • Search bar: Is where you would enter a user's name or any phone number
    • Ring back if there's no answer: If you want the transferred caller to call you back if the transfer couldn't complete, turn this on
    • Transfer drop-down: Allows you to transfer directly to another user's voicemail instead of ringing their phone
       

       

Adding others to calls/creating conference calls

  • While in a call, click the "People" button at the top of the screen
  • At the top of the menu is a search bar, enter the number(s) or user(s) you would like to add to the call
  • Either click their profiles or press [ENTER]

Checking your voicemail

  • Navigate to your calls tab and look in the middle pane for "History". It should include all of your recent calls
  • Look for any missed calls that include red text that says "Forwarded to voicemail"
    • Voicemail notifications will be sent to your email and will include the text transcript of the message
  • Click on that call. You will see a transcription and be able to play the voicemail by clicking the  icon
  • You can also filter to voicemails only by clicking the "Voicemail" filter at the top right of the History pane
